Papilio on Ubuntu

After loading a bitstream onto my device following a guide, https://www.allaboutcircuits.com/technical-articles/fpga-tutorial-step-1-the-development-environment-and-hello-world/, my device now shows up with vendor:product ID 0403:6001 instead of 0403:6010.

The Loader software only expects using 0403:6010. I tried using the "-d" option to specify the USB device, but the software still complained that the product ID was not 6010.

I am assuming that somewhere during the flash process the Papilio Pro changed it's product ID. This makes the device completely unusable since I can not interface with it.

Is there anyway around this? Is there an effort to support the "-d" option in the future?

I am using the 2.8 version of the loader.
