Best and cheapest way to get started with FPGA's?

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone,

I'm trying to get started with FPGA's, coming from a lot of Python and JavaScript hobbyist projects. FPGA boards seem to be really expensive, so I want some input for which board to choose. The first one is Cyclone 2 FPGA board, the cheapest board that I found on Amazon, but seemingly old FPGA. The next one is a Mojo v3, which seems to be the most beginner-friendly board for getting started with FPGA's. The last board I had an interest in was the Snickerdoodle, which is the most expensive board, but definetly the most powerful and useful board that won't just be useful for FPGA projects.
