cawhitley
What is the maximum data transfer rate of the Ethernet Wing (in Mbps or MBps), counting any necessary SPI start/stop delays? I may wish to get data from it at around 25 Mbps, if possible. I refer to this one: http://store.gadgetfactory.net/ethernet-wing/ thank you!! offroad
Hi, the datasheetstates on the first page: SPI™ Interface with speeds up to 10 Mb/s also that it supports one 10BASE-T port.I don't think you'll get more than 10 Mbit/s out of it (but please correct me if I'm wrong - I have never used it). Regardless of the ethernet hardware, it won't be trivial handling so much data with a relatively slow soft CPU.
cawhitley
Thank you. That helps. Meanwhile, a thought came to me of how to reduce the data throughput requirement of the project, so slower speeds may be okay. :-)
