Bitcoin Mining

Hello Justyn,

It's definitely possible, I played around with it and it works just fine on the Papilio. I tested on the Papilio One 500K, but it should be very easy to adapt to the Papilio Pro. Take a look at this forum thread for details and a zip file with the project:

Based on my earlier experiments with a Virtex 5 FPGA chip, expect to make 1 cent a day in "profit" if you're lucky. I say "profit" because you'll invariably spend more than that in other expenses so your actual profit value will be negative. But yeah, if you're just having fun, like I did, go for it, I no longer mine bitcoin, nor did I ever other than that week I was playing with it on the FPGA.
