jerryn
Hi, I just got my Retrocade card today. Pretty cool. I wanted to use my Linux vm but the latest papilio-loader i cloned from git does not recognize the SPI flash. I could only upload to the FPGA. I had to use a windows laptop, download the retrocade installer for windows to get it going. I would like to experiment with my own vhdl. What do I need to get papilio-loader working on linux with my papilio-pro/retrocade combo ?
OmniTechnoMancer
If you have significant problems with the papilio-loader then build xc3sprog from the subdir in the repo with cmake, that one has the right code AFAIK to program the Pro.I have used those xc3sprog sources to program the Papilio Pro on linux before. Jack Gassett
The source code is located here:https://github.com/GadgetFactory/Papilio-Loader There is a papilio-prog folder that compiles cleanly on linux and like Omni says, there is also an xc3sprog directory as an alternative. But the papilio-prog should be working well, it has all the latest updates. Jack.
