Using "Papilio Loader GUI" to program other Xilinx FPGAs

Hi ,

 

I have the following queries regarding "Papilio Loader GUI" 

 

1. Can I use the "Papilio Loader GUI" , if I buy a papilio one bare board and solder the components . Do I need to program any VID/PID in FT2232 EEPROM for the GUI to to work.
2. Can I also use the "Papilio Loader GUI" to program other xilinx Fpgas like - Spartam3E

No need to program a VID/PID, we use the generic FT2232 one.

1. Can I also use the "Papilio Loader GUI" to program other xilinx Fpgas like - Spartam3E

Yes, you can use it to program any other Xilinx FPGA if that board has a FT2232 chip.
