The_YongGrand
Hello there,First of all, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you.I had previously worked on Altera FPGA and with some Verilog, and in my place they are selling the Papilio One.I wondered if I can program the Papilio One using the Xilinx ISE and Verilog. Could it be done, or should I have the Xilinx JTAG programmer for this one? Thanks
OmniTechnoMancer
The Xilinx tools can be used with verilog yes, and you should not need a Xilinx JTAG cable for the papilio one, there is a loader you can use with it. It uses the FTDI chip on the Papilio one.
The_YongGrand
Hello there,Thanks for the quick reply. I will download the Xilinx ISE while waiting to purchase the thing there.I believe that the 250K gates ones can fit an Intel 8088 processor?
