Guest yenhwacheng
Dear Jack, Thank you very much for your great work on AVR8 and open hardware. I am planning to purchase papilio boards, and use the open AVR8 in my FPGA/ASIC projects. Just wondering whether the hardware timer is supported and verified (through firmware) on the open AVR8 core. Thank you very much for everything! -Yen
Jack Gassett
Hello Yen, Yes, the AVR8 implements the same timers that the AtMega103 does, and they have been proven to work correctly in several example sketches. Jack.
Guest yenhwacheng
Hello Jack, Thank you so much for the reply; so glad to know the AVR8 has almost everything (e.g. timer, SPI, etc). !! -Yen
