hamster 46 Report post Posted August 3, 2012 I've just got DVI-D running on a Spartan 6, starting from scratch (well, the DDWG specs athttp://www.ddwg.org/downloads.asp )You can find the details of my project (incl all the vhdl source) here: http://hamsterworks.co.nz/mediawiki/index.php/Dvid_testFeel free to use it in your own projects. Wonder if it will work on the Papilio Pro? Might have to butcher a cheap HDMI cable...MikeThis post has been promoted to an article

He has no plans on marketing them - he made it for his own projects and ended up with more boards than he needs.
hamster 46 Report post Posted January 9, 2013 An update - I have also got 720p (1280x720@60Hz) to work using LVDS_33 as the I/O standard - so driving HDMI may be possible from a Spartan 3e! I wouldn't fancy my chances over a long cable though....
