hamster Posted February 8, 2012 Report Share Posted February 8, 2012 Hi Jack, Having a look at the datasheet for IS61WV25616ALL/BLL I came across this note (on page 7) When operated in the range of 2.4V-3.6V the device meets 10ns. When operated in the range of 3.3V +/- 5% the device meets 8ns. Do you too read that as saying we can use the -8 ns timing? Might explain why no -8 part is on digikey if that is the case. Kevin Lindsey pointed that out at one point, and I was trying to remember where that note was in the datasheet. It's worth testing to see if it is applicable in the real world. Jack.
