    simple questions - LED wing

    I have your ebook and want to implement as much of it as I can with my hardware, in order learn learn vhdl on the papilio. my hardware is Papilio pro Led/ button wing Arcade mega wing I realize that the hardware in your book is quite different than mine. Would it be simpler to learn vhdl on the papilio if I bought a logic start megawing and used your code without modification on my papilio pro? Or is using the pro going to cause incompatibility?

Is there any software and hardware available now to do the things demonstrated in the DUO video. it shows live generation and display of video and a spectrum analyzer? What code was used to do this Are there FPGA schematics or ZPUino C code avaialble?

Are there software and hardware available now to replicate what was shown in the demo video.Are there FPGA Schematics for the ZPUino and C code ? Are there wings to interface with the LED panels?
  8. Is there documentation that answers these questions? How do you edit, load, use schematics with the zap ide? Are schematics modifiable or can you only plug and play a schematic? Can you connect multiple schematics to the fpga and run he at the same time? Can you program each schematic's behavior as a function of the immediate state of any inputs to the system?

    high level programming of FPGAs

    I am the original poster of this question.several people mentioned my HDL is a higher-level language I am not sure how I would proceed with mYHDL for something like my present project. Right now I am working on an Arduino project with an existing C library for selectively driving any one of several hundred RGB LEDs The library is in C. I am using MIDI-IN data to trigger different patterns on a bitmapped 2 D display. given my very limited digital logic experience I don't see the way to use an HDL. Is there a "schematic " of a MIDIa(or serial) to o parallel plus an SPI driver? Thanks

    high level programming of FPGAs

    This looks very interesting. Is there a list of widhbone modules that are now in the library? How does a user desing a new hardware wishbone function. I have one application that requires at least 30 USB ports. Is this possible with any of your boards?
  11. Do you have any suggested high level programming languages like matlab or labview to develop code for your FPGA boards? both have expensive software addons for FPGAs. But are there any open source or low cost softwware packages?
