Shyam
Hi Guys, Any body knows of any FPGA kit where I can combine two 16 bit data streams in to one 16 bit output. I can program the FPGA as long as there are connector inputs which accommodate the inputs and outputs. I need this for a quick development of a prototype. Thanks a lot for the help - Shyam
Jack Gassett
Well all of the Papilio One and Pro boards have exactly 48 I/O pins that are broken down into 3 16-bit headers. Sounds like they should do the job for you. Jack.
Shyam
Hi Jack, There has to be a couple of additional lines like Input Clocks, Output controls for the next in the chain receiving chip etc. I don`t mean to advertise somebody else`s product, but I think the thing that comes closest (I came across it this morning) is Mojo v3 FPGA Development board from Sparkfun. Though it does not seem one of their popular products, for my application that is the nearest I could find.
Jack Gassett
Sounds like your needs dictate a board with more I/O and the Mojo might do it for you. Good luck with your project, keep us posted. Jack.
