Speeder12
Hi, I am building a papilio plug on cape for my camera. I need to know the dimensions between the 2 IO headers? I plan to make this in Kicad. Does anyone have any sample layout?
Jack Gassett
Hello, There is a sketchup model here that can be used for measurements. Or you could always use the Eagle files to get the measurements. Finally, there is a Papilio library for EAGLE here. It has pre made library footprints for making Wings, MegaWings, and Shields. Maybe you can import it into Kicad? Jack.
james1095
I use KiCAD and I don't think it will import from Eagle. What I would suggest is install the free version of Eagle and use that to measure the pin spacing, or if you have a Papilio you could just measure it. They are standard 0.1 headers so all you need is the relative spacing between the two banks.
