ionhs
hello I'm new to the FPGA and also papilio. When I send the program to the FPGA in VHDL the program works well. But when I remove the USB cable and put it back to the program disappears and does not work. Is it normal? could keep the program as though cut power? thanks
alvieboy
Hello ionhs, What are you using for upload ? Also, which board are you using ?
Jack Gassett
Hello ionhs, In order to make a bit file stay after power is lost you need to upload the bit file to SPI Flash. If you are using the Papilio Loader then you should be able to select SPI Flash from a dropdown box, or right click on the bit file and choose, "Write permanently to Papilio Board" Jack.
