ppro, larger games and dram ?

Hello, has anyone experimented with using the dram in the arcade recreations ?

The older plus board seems to have a somewhat sane SRAM but trying to do the maths for timing with dram

just makes my head hurt :P

boards having multiple cpu's would likely require part of the code as bram, part as dram...

what about the early williams games which had huge amounts of ram and rom (well.. in terms of low end fpga's anyway)

... ram would probable reside on bram but even that will present problems since the blitter chips blit from rom to ram too...

(should be easy enough to port to pplus, there *is* a working 6809 ip at opencores so no need for the external cpu..

i've no idea though if that is accurate enough)
