james1095
I was just looking over the schematic for the arcade megawing and came across something I found odd. The audio output shows 3.3k resistors between the capacitor and the output jack where they are useless in filtering the output. To act as a filter with the capacitors, the resistor should be between the FPGA pin and the capacitor that shunts the high frequency to ground. Is the schematic how this is actually wired on the board? Are there resistors inline with the IO pins on the FPGA board and the 3.3k resistors near the audio hack are just to protect the FPGA, or is this an error? I don't have the hardware in front of me at the moment to check.
Jack Gassett
Hello James, That was an error with earlier versions of the board, the latest version has the correction. Jack.
james1095
Cool, good to know. I thought it sounded too good to have a problem with the filter but the schematic made me curious.
