Guest AtomSoft
This is more for CPLD, i wanted to know if this would work for CPLDs http://www.sparkfun.com/products/8460 It claims to be a PC3 clone from Xilinx. I dont want to buy it but make my own here at home. I dont have a 74xx125 but i do have some 74xx244 which i think should work I plan to get the 9500XL CPLDs from Xilinx and want to make sure i can program them with this. If not then ill just make the actual PC3 from Xilinx schematic but this would be a simpler board for me to make. Schematic of Sparkfun Clone: http://www.sparkfun.com/datasheets/DevTools/FPGA/fpga_prog.pdf Xilinx PC3 Schematic: (PAGE 3) http://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/user_guides/xtp029.pdf Thanks! EDIT: This is my current board, if it works i plan to make this.
ben
Can't see why it wouldn't work : the JTAG programming interface of CPLDs and FPGA are the same.
